This fine sword is from the 4th generation shigekuni.  This line of smiths comes from the yamato tegai line.  The quality is very good and has a very nicely forged hada.  The hamon is an attractive gunome that has much activity/hataraki. This sword is polished, papered and has good quality original mounts.  Overall a complete antiques sword, signed from the 1700's of good quality.
