This elegant and very long sword is in excellent condition.  This katana has been fully restored and comes with shirasaya and tsunagi.  The overall feel and look of this sword is of a very high quality katana from the samurai era. Staring with the very finely forged steel that looks very silky and wet.  Its gives you more of a koto era sword feel not shinto.  The hamon/temper is very strong with fine active nie in many places with hints of nijuba.  The length of this sword also makes it very desirable and it has its original nakago and is not cut down.  The fittings are original and the saya is restored and is sound.  We have not researched the guard/tsuba but apparently it must have been made from an important maker.  Please note, its is very heavily signed. This is a stout elegant sword that was not meant to be flashy but made more in the classical Japanese tastes of a true swordsman.
