This koto era wakazashi is in great condition and is well made.  The workmanship shows many of the fine yamato school details of sword making.  The ha is mostly in ara-nie and is very well made with many hataraki/ activity.  The hada is very well forged and tightly made.  It is milky looking and elegant.   This sword was mounted in late meiji mounts and comes in a well made shirasaya to protect this fine sword.  We recommend sending this sword thru shinsa in the future to add to the value of this sword.
