but hard to see work on blade
This is an early tanto that was mounted in elaborate inlayed koshirai. The blade itself is not of high quality but the mounts are very interesting. These mounts are in insect motif and have many different inlayed materials from horn, ivory, mother of pearl and many others. This is more of an art peace to be enjoyed the the craftsmanship.
