Fujishiro:
There are seven MASATOSHI in the koto period in the Meikan. The NBTHK does not provide that type of information.\ However, there is this MASATOSHI in Fuishiro, on Page 378. The signature matches this sword, and the text says that most of the MASATOSHI blades seen are by this smith. He is the son of SAKAKURA MASATOSHI, and is called SAKAKURA seki. His is from Mino, around KÔJI (1555-1558). He is a RYÔWAZAMONO, and a CHÛJÔSAKU.

This sword was deemed TOKUBETSU HOZON level by the NBTHK.  These papers are high and not easily given.  So the quality is very high on this sword.

This is a beautiful long Daito at ~30-7/8" long~ from the koto era with its original signature and length.   The hamon is excellent and is extremely active.  The pictures don't do justice to this sword.  The hada is rich looking and well forged.  For such an old sword it is in good shape and has an elegant feel to it.  The kissaki or point is very beautiful also as in so many fine quality koto swords.  Overall this is a very fine sword with high grade papers attesting to its quality and historic value.
